Description

Innovation is all about thinking outside the box and finding new ways to solve problems. In this workshop, students will brainstorm, design, and develop innovative projects in bioprocessing. They’ll learn about the latest trends and technologies and work on exciting projects that encourage creativity and problem-solving.

Examples of Concepts and Projects

  • Current Trends: Students will explore recent advancements in bioprocessing, such as CRISPR technology, 3D bioprinting, and AI in bioprocessing. They’ll get a sneak peek into the future of science!
  • Brainstorming Sessions: They’ll participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with innovative solutions to common bioprocessing challenges. It’s a creativity workshop with a scientific twist!
  • Hands-On Project: DIY Bioreactor Model: Students will build a DIY bioreactor model to understand how bioreactors can be optimized for different applications. They’ll get to design their own mini bioprocessing system!
  • Innovation Challenge: They’ll work in teams to design a bioprocessing experiment or gadget that addresses a real-world problem, presenting their ideas to the group. It’s like a science fair, but even more exciting!
  • Prototype Development: Using basic materials, students will create prototypes of their innovative ideas. They’ll get to bring their creative solutions to life!
