At Nafees Innovations Academy, we turn science into an adventure for ages 2–15. Our playful STEM discovery labs for toddlers (ages 2–5) build early curiosity through fun, sensory science. For youth (ages 6–15), our high-energy, hands-on workshops make learning unforgettable—fueling creativity, confidence, and the spirit of innovation.

At Nafees Innovations Academy, we turn science into an unforgettable adventure. Founded by biopharmaceutical engineer Nafees Norris, our mission is to make STEM simple, fun, and unforgettable for youth. From toddlers to teens, our hands-on workshops break down complex science into exciting, real-world experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. Whether they’re mixing, measuring, building, or exploring, our students don’t just learn science—they live it. We’re here to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators—one thrilling experiment at a time.
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore the world of science, regardless of their background. Purification of Medicine
Students will discover how scientists separate and clean medicine ingredients to make them safe and effective. Through hands-on lab activities, they’ll learn real-world STEM skills like filtration, measuring, and quality control.

Meet Nafees Norris, CEO of Nafees Innovations Academy
Nafees Norris, the first African American to graduate in Biopharmaceutical Process Engineering, is a visionary in STEM. As founder and CEO of Nafees Innovations Academy, he is committed to making STEM accessible for underrepresented youth, fostering diversity and inclusivity in science education.
With hands-on expertise as a cell culture scientist and deep technical knowledge, he brings real-world relevance to interactive workshops, internships, and mentorship programs. Nafees’s programs encourage students to see themselves as future innovators while promoting values of resilience and integrity. His mission is to inspire a generation, ensuring STEM is accessible, engaging, and inclusive for all.
