Nafees Innovations Academy offers engaging STEM workshops tailored for K-12 schools, designed to inspire curiosity and innovation in science. Schools can sign up for workshops hosted at our lab or have us travel to your location.

Experience our bioprocessing labs from anywhere—no equipment needed on your end. Nafees Norris, MS, Biopharmaceutical Process Engineer (the first African-American to earn this degree), guides your students through real-time, point-of-view experiments, bringing the bench directly into your classroom or home.

• POV Camera Setup: Watch every pipette transfer, color change, and data readout as if you were at the lab bench yourself
• Multiple Angles: Switch between close-ups of materials, wide shots of the workspace, and overhead views for maximum clarity
• Real-Time Q&A: Students can type or unmute to ask questions, and Nafees pauses at key points to troubleshoot and explain
Flexible Formats & Topics
• Session Length: Choose 45- or 60-minute classes
• Customizable Curriculum: Select from core modules—Cell Culture Seeding, Chromatography Purification, Biofuel Production, Data Analysis Techniques, and more—or request a bespoke topic to align with your syllabus
• Follow-Along Kits (Optional): We can ship small take-home kits (at cost) so students can perform simplified versions of the demo in parallel

• Good Bandwidth: A stable internet connection (5 Mbps upload) ensures smooth video and audio
• Group Size: Ideal for classes of up to 30 participants
